Released in May, 2018, 20 is our fourth independently released album. Recorded in May, 2017 at Revolution Recording in Toronto, 20 showcases the composition and arranging work of TJO Artistic Director Josh Grossman, and is a celebration of the TJO’s 20th anniversary. The seven original compositions and one arrangement reflect in part the range of musical influences that inform TJO performance repertoire: traditional big band swing, funk, rock, hip hop, samba, and free jazz. Highlights include the hit single "Georgie and Rose", and Grossman's four-part suite, dedicated to Phil Nimmons, called "4PN".
